Every BGM on x-rush.ai comes from Music Gen's instrumental mode: complete tracks with no lead vocal, for standalone listening or under a video, podcast, or app. The URL still reads bgm-generator so existing links keep working; there is no separate BGM workbench behind it. Songs with lyrics are that feature's other mode, covered in Music Gen.
The Homepage Shortcut
The BGM tile on the homepage is the one-sentence path. Type what you want; the button shows the fixed price, and one click after signing in runs the task with no second confirmation. The music agent completes a title, tags, and a full generation note from your sentence, keeping the constraints you stated. The track lands as a private result in your Default Project and keeps running if you close the tab. The homepage offers playback, the note, and a jump into Music Gen, where continuing creates an instrumental workspace with your note, duration, and tags at no charge. Downloads and publishing live in the workbench.
Instrumental Mode
Inside Music Gen you confirm two things: a target duration within the range the interface shows, and at least one musical direction, in plain language, a preset, or an accepted agent suggestion. BPM, key, and arrangement details stay optional, and you can overwrite anything the agent proposes. Each instrumental workspace runs one music task at a time; how many run across all your workspaces follows your plan, Free 1, Lite 2, Pro 3, with extra accepted tasks queuing rather than failing.
What a Track Costs
A generation is one music unit at 5 credits, shown before you confirm. Credits are reserved at task acceptance and consumed only when a complete, playable track is saved; failed or blocked tasks release them, and system retries inside a task are never charged again. Regenerating a track you dislike is a new 5-credit unit. Agent assists draw on the shared pool, 0.5 credits per 10 successful assists (the homepage shortcut's one-shot completion is included in the generation price, not this pool).
Duration and Delivery
The accepted duration range is whatever the interface currently shows, not a fixed preset menu. A target outside the range is stopped before the task starts and before any credit is reserved. The system never trims, loops, or splits a track to hit your number, and the result aims at the target rather than matching it to the second. Delivery is the complete generated audio as MP3, with WAV selectable at download. There are no trim, fade, or loop controls on a result; if a project needs looping, set the loop points in your own editor.
Rights and Input Checks
Requests to reproduce an existing song or melody, or to imitate a recognizable singer, are intercepted before a task is created. Everything else passes an input safety check. Confirming a generation also confirms you hold the rights your use requires: the platform checks input safety but does not judge copyright for you, so where and how you publish a track stays your call.
