AI Drama is x-rush.ai's production workbench for serialized drama: one Series Workspace holds the story bible, reusable cast and scenes, and a six-stage desk per episode. This page describes that workflow; the URL still reads ai-cinema-workflow so existing links keep working.
What a series workspace holds
A workspace maps to one series and creating one is free; a single-episode short is the same object with one episode, so adding episode 2 never migrates anything. Series pages: overview, story planning, asset hub, episode production, tasks and cost, publishing. Story planning keeps the bible, plot lines, and foreshadowing; the asset hub keeps characters and wardrobe variants, scenes and their day/night or weather variants, props, and voice identities. Media generation only bills when you confirm a task that shows its scope and price; ordinary copilot chat accrues on the shared assistance pool (0.5 credits per 10 successful assists).
The six-stage production desk
Each stage ends when you confirm, and a handoff summary carries the adopted output to the next stage.
- Story and script: episode goal, outline, scene-structured script.
- Shot planning: a structured shot list with framing, camera, dialogue, estimated duration.
- Characters and wardrobe: bind this episode's character versions; extra angle references optional.
- Scenes and props: bind scene versions, atmosphere variants, props.
- Shot production: per shot, reuse a result, upload footage, generate from text, or from one confirmed image; test shots recommended before any batch.
- Sound and assembly: dialogue, narration, BGM, sound effects, subtitles over the adopted clips.
Later edits never rewrite finished episodes; only shots referencing a changed version get flagged for re-review.
Candidates and human review
Images and clips arrive as candidates. Only you adopt, from four states: pending review, adopted, needs changes, intentionally kept. Whether a face stayed consistent or a scene drags is your call; the system never auto-adopts and never grades quality.
What generation costs
Fixed credits per unit, shown before you confirm: text 0.5, image 1, other audio 2, music 5, video 10, auto subtitles 0.5; full script or shot-list drafts are text units. Uploads, reuse, edits, reviews, and exports are free. Regenerating a disliked shot is a new 10-credit unit; technical retries inside one task are not.
What AI Drama does not do
Assembly joins clips with hard cuts and reordering; contiguous trimming works, but there is no transition library or clip splitting. Generated audio does not drive mouth movement, since automatic lip-sync does not exist here. And AI Drama ships no platform templates: you start from an idea, an imported script, or an empty desk, with no one-click full episode in between.
Export and publishing
Export renders an MP4 from the current assembly, appends a version rather than overwriting, and costs no generation credits; one adopted clip is the minimum. Publishing fixes one version per episode, with per-episode download and Remix permissions and an opt-in public series page.
